MISSION
The Dovelets Legal Defense Fund provides direct financial grants and legal representation resources to trans, nonbinary, and queer individuals fighting cases that threaten their fundamental civil liberties, healthcare, and safety.
Born out of the fantasy universe where sanctuary and justice are sacred rights, the fund transforms storytelling into tangible, real-world defense.
Administered through Loring Collective, every dollar donated goes directly toward shielding our community from unlawful discrimination and legislative overreach.

GRANTS
When you donate to the fund, your contributions are deployed directly into two core grant streams:
The Neo Legal Grant (APPLICATIONS OPENING SOON)
Dedicated specifically to trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse individuals.
Funds emergency legal aid, name and gender marker defense, healthcare access litigation, and protection against discriminatory state actions.
The Grace Clements Legal Grant (APPLICATIONS OPENING SOON)
Supporting broader LGBTQ+ civil rights defense.
Provides assistance for lesbian, gay, and bisexual community members facing workplace discrimination, housing challenges, and civil rights violations.

FUNDING
Sustained by Storytelling: 10% of all royalties from Anthony Scott’s author business—along with 100% of proceeds from custom Dovelets merchandise—flow directly into this reserve.
Fully Tax-Deductible: Because the fund is a signature project under Loring Collective (a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit), your donation is fully tax-deductible under federal law.
Community-Led Oversight: Grants are reviewed and distributed with guidance from our legal steering committee, ensuring funds reach individuals facing critical civil rights emergencies.
