The first Honey and Jalapeno Book fair Minnesota book fair will be on May 17, 2026, at the Big Wood Brewery in Vadnais Heights. The Honey and Jalapeno Book Fair will showcase local authors and vendors, author panels, actor/cosplay, a step and repeat art table, and food/drink for purchase at the Big Wood Brewery. Romance books from hot and spicy to sweet romance will fill the spring air with love and happiness! Come out and meet authors in person, talk with them, ask questions about their books, buy books, get author signatures, and peruse bookish merchandise from local sellers and creators. Giveaways/prizes will be awarded via an author signature bingo game (full bingo cards will be added to a bowl and winners drawn at random). Winners must be present to win and claim the prize.

The step and repeat interactive art table will have a word game for all to participate in, a colorful photo spot for fun selfies, free author created coloring pages to go along with books, and other info.
